Around 200 people gathered at Manchester Cathedral on Thursday 19th March to conclude an uplifting and hope‑filled day across our diocese.

On Sunday, The Revd Peter Matthew was licensed and commissioned as Area Dean of Manchester South and Stretford during a service at St Wilfrid’s, Northenden. Please pray for Peter as he begins this new chapter in service to the Deanery.

Ahead of her installation as Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally is undertaking a pilgrimage from St Paul’s Cathedral to Canterbury Cathedral.

The Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, will visit our diocese on Thursday, 19th March for the next leg of his Lord’s Prayer tour.
