Diocesan Synod met on Saturday 21st March to discuss the impact of the recent grant awarded by national church, the work of the Racial Justice Team, the financial position of the Diocesan Board of Finance, and the Vacancy in See process.

Around 200 people gathered at Manchester Cathedral on Thursday 19th March to conclude an uplifting and hope‑filled day across our diocese.

As we continue to deliver our vision we are committed to ensuring that all of our governance structures support parishes, chaplaincies and schools in their ministry.

The Archbishop’s visit to Manchester on Thursday, 19th March has been shaped to reflect the diocese’s priorities of Parish Renewal, Growing Younger, Church Planting and Revitalisation, and Developing Missional Leaders.

On Saturday, 13th December, two new priests were ordained at Manchester Cathedral to serve in our diocese.
