SUPPORT
For Schools
This section of our website is dedicated to supporting the family of Church schools across the Diocese of Manchester. Through the work of the Manchester Diocesan Board of Education (MDBE), we offer guidance, resources, and practical support to help schools flourish. Whether you’re a headteacher, governor, member of staff, or clergy working with a school, you’ll find information here to help you grow leadership, nurture relationships, and serve your community.
We provide:
- Strategic advice on leadership, governance, and school development
- Training and resources for Religious Education, Collective Worship, and SIAMS
- Support for mental health, wellbeing, and inclusive practice
- Opportunities for collaboration between schools and churches
Our goal is to walk alongside our schools in their mission to educate, inspire, and care for every child – rooted in Christian values and open to all.

We educate over 58,000 children and young people every day. Read more about our Church Schools & Trusts.
