Church buildings

Our church buildings provide a visible Christian presence in our communities, and are valuable for mission, community use and welcoming visitors.

They should be the centre of our communities, vibrant places providing a range of services for all. Many of our church buildings already offer fabulous spaces that do just this, but we should constantly challenge ourselves to improve our church buildings to create spaces that can adapt to changing worship styles, articulate our mission, welcome people and meet the needs of the community.

The team at St John's House are here to help you plan for the future of your buildings and consider community needs alongside the needs of the worshipping congregation. They also offer advice on the statutory processes that may apply in adapting or improving your church building.
