Data Developments, a software company based in Wolverhampton, believe that accounts are an integral and vital part of any church, faith-based organisation or charity.  The company’s software helps a church to understand its current financial position which helps with future planning. This vital work can often fall on the shoulders of one or two members of a PCC and so Data Developments produces software (including integrations with other sites/platforms) that is designed to greatly reduce a user’s workload and stress.

This session will help provide information and a demonstration about some of the software and services they offer, including:

  • A brief overview and demonstration of Data Developments accounting software called My Fund Accounting Online.
  • An explanation of how Data Developments donations and Gift Aid software called My Giving Online can be integrated with My Fund Accounting Online.

For more information about Data Developments, including their software, training and other services, please visit https://www.datadevelopments.co.uk/

"Since 1985 Data Developments have been writing donations, accounting and membership software especially for the unique requirements of churches, faith-based organisations and charities. For 25 years Data Developments have supplied and supported the software used by Manchester diocese for the Gift Aid lite service. Data Developments have also been awarded the "Church Accounting Software Partner" to the Church of England - the ONLY accounting software company to be awarded this status.

"Stephen Hendy has been both a Gift Aid secretary and treasurer for a number of churches and charities. His day to day experience, the experiences of our users and our staff fulfilling these roles together with the HMRC, Charity Commission and Church of England requirements have all helped to develop our software into the user friendly and easy to use software it is today. Stephen also leads the free Gift aid and treasurer training that Data Developments offers to everyone throughout the year, which can be booked through the training page of our website."
