FFM graduation 2018
Foundations for Ministry (FFM) is a course open to anyone active in church life who wants to explore and develop their gifts, vocation and sense of calling to Christian ministry both in the Church and the world around them.

The course has 23 sessions and runs on Wednesday evenings at Church House over three terms, September-June and four Saturday course days.

What does the course offer?

The course offers a safe space and solid foundation for exploring and unpacking the following areas:

  • Making connections between who we are, what we believe and how we are called to apply our faith to our everyday lives.
  • Understanding what Christian ministry is and how we can discover and develop our own sense of calling, gifts and vocation.
  • Exploring our call to mission and the ways in which we can sustain and remain fruitful in our ministry.

There are no essays or assessed work on the course but participants are encouraged to engage with reflective practice and link work between sessions. Participants are also expected to have a base foundation of Christian knowledge and understanding prior to joining the course.

How to apply

The next FFM course will begin in September 2019.
