The Revd Sam Eccleston, currently Assistant Curate of St Mary the Virgin, Bury and St Paul's, Bury, has been appointed as Incumbent of the benefices of Kirklees Valley and St Stephen's, Elton, to be held in plurality.
We share the news that The Revd Fred Cooke died a few days ago, aged 89. His funeral will take place at 1pm on Wednesday, 23rd October at Eccles Parish Church.
The Revd Christine Bailey will retire as OLM of Christ Church, Davyhulme, and St Clement, Urmston benefice.
The Revd Rebecca Wilkinson, currently Curate at Holy Trinity, Shaw and High Crompton and Thornham Benefice has been appointed Vicar of St Andrew the Apostle, Catford in the Diocese of Southwark.

The Revd Beth Bird, currently Curate at St Werburgh's, Chorlton-cum-Hardy is to transfer to service the remainder of her curacy in the Wythenshawe benefice.

The Revd Canon Rachel Watts, currently Rector of the Uppingham benefice in the Diocese of Peterborough, has been appointed Director of Vocations in the Diocese of Manchester.
The Revd Gary Anderton, currently Assistant Curate at St Mary benefice, Prestwich, will be transferring his curacy to the Diocese of St Asaph in the Church in Wales.
The Revd David Austin is to retire as Incumbent of Holy Trinity, Coldhurst, and St Stephen and All Martyrs, Oldham, benefice.
