On Sunday, November 12th, churches across the diocese hosted Remembrance Sunday services, commemorating the contribution of British and Commonwealth military servicemen and women in the two World Wars. Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember and pay tribute to those who have served and sacrificed, to learn the lessons of war and conflict, and to encourage a future of compassion, understanding and unity.
