House of Lords: Bishop David speaks in debates on levelling up, housing and strikes
The Bishop of Manchester shares a letter following the announcement of the results of the bishops’ conversations that have been taking place as part of the Living in Love and Faith process.
Environmental issues were to the fore at Diocesan Synod. Bishop Mark Ashcroft was also thanked for his dedicated service to the diocese prior to his retirement in February.
The Diocese of Manchester has published an Executive Summary of its past case safeguarding review (PCR2) that was carried out by the Independent Reviewer between September 2020 and June 2021.
Our travels through the Holy Land in November 2023 will introduce us to the landscape that shaped Jesus, and teach us to read the Gospels with fresh eyes.
We commissioned and welcomed over forty new ALMs who will serve in parishes across the diocese during a celebration at Manchester Cathedral yesterday.
On the death of HM the Queen, Bishop David makes a personal tribute to her life of faith and service.
My hope is that every bishop has gone home a changed woman or man. Changed by the experience of meeting in the flesh, worshipping, praying, studying, sharing our stories, and having fun together.
