It was with great sorrow that we heard the news of the death of Pope Francis this morning. The Bishop of Manchester, the Rt Revd Dr David Walker has expressed his condolences and paid tribute to him.
This week, clergy and lay readers from around the diocese took some time to meet together and take part in a ministerial development day titled, ‘The City is My Monastery: Contemplative Prayer and Action', led by the Revd Richard Carter.
