Sacred Trinity, Salford is set to hold its first Tamil service in October as part of a new service set up by Revd Sweetline Burnell.
The Bishop of Manchester, The Rt Revd Prof David Walker is delighted to announce the appointment of The Revd Canon Rachel Watts as Director of Vocations following in the successful footsteps of The Revd Canon Nick Smeeton.
Members of the Village Church and Open Table Network took part in the Pride Parade this weekend, followed by a Pride Eucharist at Manchester Cathedral.

As Faith Leaders in Greater Manchester, we deplore the violence on our streets perpetrated since, and supposedly in response to, the stabbings in Southport last Monday.
Last Sunday, the sun shone for the Commissioning of Focal leaders in Salford and Leigh Deanery. Taking place at St Mary’s, Irlam, it marked the commissioning of the first focal leaders for the deanery and was also the first to take place during an outside service!
