Congratulations to our new deacons and priests who were ordained at Manchester Cathedral.
Please pray for our new Readers to be licensed on 11 July.
Twenty-five deacons, the largest number ever ordained in a single year in Manchester, are a diverse group including 13 women, six people of BAME background and 11 under the age of 40.
Duke O'Baka-Torto grew up in Ghana where he was responsible for looking after the family's flock. But even as a child he felt called to be a priest.
Hannah Lane's various parish placements have prepared her for her curacy with the Turton Moorland Team.
Andy Bird's journey has involved some deep reflection around his adoption as a baby from China to begin a new life in the UK.
Cath's calling to ordination grew from the time she was asked to baptise a mother and child who she had nurtured in a church toddler group.
Welcome to our new Area Deans and Lay Chairs who will lead our seven new deaneries.
Our seven new deaneries came into effect on 1 June.
