New vision for Lahore Diocese

The Diocese of Manchester has had a link with the Diocese of Lahore, Church of Pakistan, for over 30 years. This link has flourished through visits to each diocese, together with an active linking of schools in both areas.

HAFWAY youth project receives Youth Investment Fund grant

St. Paul’s Parish Centre in Bolton is set to become a bespoke youth centre thanks to funding awarded to the HAFWAY project. HAFWAY is the Halliwell-based youth project that provides young people with a range of fun indoor and outdoor activities including sports, away days, volunteering, building key skills, the Duke of Edinburgh award, mentoring and more.

Revd Anne creates a warm culture for all at St Chad’s and St Mary in the Baum

In Rochdale, the churches of St Mary in the Baum and St Chad’s welcome migrant communities from a range of backgrounds. Amongst them, West African families and Farsi-speaking migrants from Iran have arrived after escaping persecution, and Revd Anne Gilbert has worked with congregations at both churches to create a warm culture of welcome for all.
